Research Materials

The Library's collection contains databases, journals, books, videos, and research guides. In the event what you are looking for is not available in our collection, we have an interlibrary loan service where we can request another library send the material.

Linking in Canvas

The best way to add an article, electronic book, or database to your Canvas course is to link to the article using a permalink or permanent link. Linking to an article rather than uploading a PDF allows the library to record more accurate usage statistics for journals and databases. libraries.ou.edu

Sometimes our coverage is historical and in some cases it is the last 4 years to present.

Database ILL

The Library offers a service called Interlibrary Loan, where another library that subscribes to that journal or database can send us a PDF, link, or scan of the article. This service also includes print and electronic books. Complete the request form online or email Jay Singley for assistance.
