You will ask these types of questions when considering which sources to use.
- Currency
- When was this work created?
- Has it been updated or superseded?
- Is it out-of-date for the context of my research?
- Relevance
- How does this relate to your research topic?
- Who is the intended audience?
- Authority
- Who created this work and what is their background?
- What is their expertise on this topic?
- Accuracy
- What is their methodology?
- What are their sources of information?
- Is the information supported by evidence?
- Has their work been reviewed or refereed?
- Purpose
- What is the purpose of this information?
- What biases are present?
- What level of objectivity or subjectivity is involved?
