Student Resources

Library support for patrons with disabilities includes:

• Installation of 10 wide screen monitors throughout the Library space.
• Purchase large print and ebooks when available.
• Partner with the State Library of North Carolina Accessible Books Department to provide a rotating collection of large print books to students with low vision.
• Provide access to a new overhead book scanner and ABBYY software to convert scanned images to OCR-enabled PDFs.

We are committed to maintaining a physical and virtual space that is accessible and welcoming to all patrons, including those with disabilities. We work closely with Academic Programs, ITS, campus Accessibility Specialist, students and their families to ensure we are meeting the needs of our patrons.
